Reflections - abstract graphic series examining digital screens as cultural artifacts, displays, reflective surfaces, veils and mirrors.

Reflections (2020) is an abstract graphic series in which I examine digital screens as cultural artifacts, shaping how we perceive reality, ourselves, and the world around us. The screens we interact with daily—through their contrast, blue light, or physical imperfections like cracks and distortions—can subtly influence our mood, perception, and emotional state.

At the core of the series is the dual nature of the screen, which functions both as a display and a reflective surface, much like a mirror. Reflections plays with this idea by deconstructing and reconstructing the screen’s surface, emphasizing its ability to both present digital content and reflect its surroundings. The title itself carries a double meaning—it refers not only to a physical or optical phenomenon but also to the act of self-reflection in a technology-driven world.
